We often get asked how we went from corporate America to selling funny t-shirts. In trying to come up with the answer to that question, it really came down to one simple (cliché ALERT) thought. Life is too short. When I was young my entire wardrobe was made up of Levis and funny t-shirts. I was pretty creative and came up with some my own ideas for funny t-shirts that I could sell. Things were great but then, IT happened. The dreaded reality check that no serious business person (of which I believed I was) made his living selling funny t-shirts. Corporate America won that battle and my t-shirt dreams were dashed. I took a sales job in the telecom industry and got to work. I am not sure of the exact date but the decision to launch BadMannersTShirts.com came after butt chewing from a customer that I am pretty sure rode a skateboard to work. I literally had visions of beating the crap out of him with that same skateboard. After some heated words, he told me that I needed to “chill”. As it turns out that was the best advice I have ever received. The next day I started the Bad Manners Funny T-shirt Company and began the “chill” phase of my life. We sell a ton of funny t-shirts and recently launched out Football Pool T-Shirt product. Life is pretty darn good.
